PRESTIGE – International Fellowship Programme for Post-Doc Researchers
French Agency “Campus France” coordinates the PRESTIGE programme on international mobility of researchers to and from France for any scientific discipline. Campus France is a public establishment of France, which is responsible for the development of higher education and for the organization of international mobility of students, researchers, experts and guests. The Agency is under the control of the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of France.
PRESTIGE is implemented under Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions of the 7th EU Framework Programme.
Programme duration: 5 years from 01.09.2014 to 31.08.2019.
Three mobility schemes are available under PRESTIGE:
· Incoming, allowing foreign or French researchers complying with the Marie Curie Actions mobility rules to carry out their post-doctoral research work in France;
· Outgoing, for researchers already working in French research institutions and universities (French citizens or other nationalities) wishing to carry out a post-doctoral research project in another country;
· Re-integration, targeted at nationals of EU Member States or Associated Countries working in research for at least 3 years in another Third Country to come to France to further develop their career.
The PRESTIGE Calls for applications are open every all year long with four cut-off dates per year: 31/03, 30/06, 30/09, 31/12. The nearest deadline — 30 June 2017.
Funding: Campus France funds about 1/3 of the fellowship for researcher which includes living, mobility and research allowance, while the remaining 2/3 are financed by another partner, either public or private.
