10th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition – HeliRussia 2017

The International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2017 is Europe’s largest and the only Russian helicopter exhibition, where companies from Russia and other countries present world achievements in every helicopter industry segment, from design and manufacture to operation.

The organizer of the exhibition is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

HeliRussia not only gives a chance to show the achievements of Russian industry but also attracts the best companies of the world to the Russian market, thus contributing to the development of international cooperation in helicopter industry across the world. It gives the perfect opportunity to meet industry leaders, company CEOs and discuss cooperation matters.

15 countries — Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, the USA, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Canada, South Africa and the Czech Republic — joined the exhibition in 2016 being represented by the 224 companies. The exhibition was visited by more than 11,000 people, its business program included 58 business events, mass media covered it with about 300 publications.

An extensive business programme is traditionally an essential part of the exhibition and serves as a platform for discussing and handling the most burning helicopter industry tasks.

In 2017 one of the themes of the exhibition will be certification completion and market entering of the new Russian medium multirole helicopters — Mi-171A2 and Mi-38. Industry experts predict high demand for these rotorcrafts from the major Russian and international helicopter operators. As for the light helicopters, the new Leonardo Helicopters AW119Ke and Bell 505 Jet Ranger X to enter the Russian market in 2017. Both are perfectly suited for the corporate use. Licensed production increase is planned for Airbus Helicopters H135 and Bell 407GXP helicopters.
