Clean Sky: Sixth Call for Proposals Launched

The Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative has launched its sixth Call for proposals. Clean Sky is one of the largest European research programmes that will develop breakthrough technologies to improve the impact of the air transport on the environment.

The sixth Call for proposals covers 29 research and development subjects within the 6 main areas of work — Integrated Technology Platforms:

  • EcoDesign (JTI-CS-ECO) max funding — 1 650 000 € (3 topics)
  • Green Regional Aircraft (JTI-CS-GRA) max funding — 1 987 500 € (4 topics)
  • Green Rotorcraft (JTI-CS-GRC) max funding — 873 500 € (3 topics)
  • Sustainable and Green Engines (JTI-CS-SAGE) max funding — 5 962 500 € (10 topics)
  • Smart Fixed Wing Aircraft (JTI-CS-SFWA) max funding — 1 578 750 € (5 topics)
  • Systems for Green Operations (JTI-CS-SGO) max funding — 2 062 500 € (4 topics)
The total available funding of the 6th Call projects is over 14 million euro. The proposals should be submitted via EPSS electronic system: www.epss-fp7.org The deadline for submitting proposals — 12th October, 2010, 17:00 Brussels time.
